About us
Welcome to Cowbridge Bowling Club.
This is a friendly mixed club, our green is situated immediately behind Cowbridge Leisure Centre.
We play on an outdoor carpet which unlike grass, allows us to play all the year.
New members are always welcome, from experienced bowlers, to complete beginners.
The men compete in several leagues including The East Wales Private Greens.
The ladies also compete in a number of competitive leagues.
As well as these league games, we have our own internal Club Championships.
We also play a number of social team games throughout the week for new members to improve
their game and regular players to keep their hand in.
There is an active social programme, last year there was a race night, quiz night and regular
whist evenings.
For new members thinking of joining us, the club benefits from having a number of qualified coaches
who can advise on the elements of the game. New bowlers often say "I wish I had started earlier".
So why not give bowls a try?
Completely free "taster sessions”, you need nothing other than a pair of soft soled shoes.
For details, ring Gerry (Development Officer) on 01446 775616.
